SoFi is seeking an Operations Control Analyst to support the Small Business Lending unit's operational integrity and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with the Vendor Relationship Manager to execute the control framework and ensure third-party vendors align with SoFi's policies and regulatory requirements across the entire SMB lifecycle—from sales and servicing to collections.
Key responsibilities include: monitoring and testing vendor processes to ensure documentation, testability, and operational resilience; assessing vendor risk in customer acquisition and servicing; analyzing vendor-level performance metrics using advanced Excel/Google Sheets to identify operational friction and control gaps; maintaining the vendor governance model through performance scorecards and escalation tracking; preparing for audits and regulatory exams while supporting Corrective Action Plan remediation; and partnering cross-functionally to align third-party operations with business strategy and internal controls.
You'll need 3+ years of experience in operations, program management, or lending operations (FinTech or banking preferred). Required skills include advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency, strong PowerPoint/Google Slides capabilities for management reporting, analytical rigor to translate metrics into actionable insights, and effective cross-functional communication. Familiarity with risk frameworks, compliance expectations, and operational controls in regulated financial environments is essential.
Nice-to-have qualifications include experience in small business lending, servicing, or card operations, and prior support for audits, regulatory exams, or CAP remediation projects. This role offers the opportunity to directly impact vendor management and compliance in a fast-growing fintech organization.
