Salary: USD 105,000 - 125,000 / annual

Quince is a direct-to-consumer (DTC) essentials brand operating on a manufacturer-to-consumer (M2C) model, eliminating traditional retail layers to deliver high-quality products at accessible prices. The company spans apparel, accessories, home goods, and more, serving tens of millions of customers globally. The Associate Merchant for Women's Active will own the strategy, assortment, revenue, and margins for Quince's Active product category. This is a high-impact role where the individual will drive category growth and directly influence company performance. Key Responsibilities: - Own the Active assortment strategy in partnership with the Sr. Merchandising Manager, ensuring alignment with Quince's quality-at-accessible-prices promise - Leverage data and customer insights to build, optimize, and scale the assortment; analyze performance metrics and refine product mix to meet customer needs and financial goals - Use data-driven approaches to identify whitespace in the assortment and refine the product roadmap using analytics tools and AI - Analyze ratings, reviews, and return rates to diagnose quality issues and drive improvements with Product Development and Sourcing teams - Own and maintain accurate product data in PLM and internal systems - Partner with Product Development and Sourcing to identify and develop new products, emphasizing performance, sustainability, and quality materials - Collaborate with marketing, site, and creative teams to ensure compelling product launches and brand-aligned storytelling The role is based in San Francisco with a 3 days per week in-office requirement. Requirements: - 3+ years of apparel merchandising experience (Active performance apparel strongly preferred) - E-commerce and/or DTC experience with product creation experience preferred - Proven track record of career progression and continuous growth in roles and responsibilities - Product obsessed with experience leveraging data tools and external sources - Critical eye to anticipate customer needs (both the analytical and intuitive aspects of retail merchandising) - Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical with focus on execution, problem-solving, process improvement, and brand enhancement - Continuous learner and highly curious; open to new perspectives; proactive when changing course or facing challenges - Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills - Motivated by fast-paced, collaborative environments where flexibility and cross-functional collaboration are essential - Bachelor's Degree preferred
