Salary: USD 84,240 - 101,565 / annual
Oscar Health is seeking an Associate, Member and Provider Optimization to join the Member Provider Service Optimization team. This role is responsible for cross-functional collaboration with business and technical stakeholders to design, optimize, and implement operational processes that support organizational goals.
Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end management of cross-functional implementations and projects, including project planning, stakeholder engagement, and on-time delivery. You will evaluate departmental performance by creating, gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics to support decision-making. The role requires collaborative work with internal and external stakeholders to develop implementation strategies, communications plans, and risk mitigation initiatives for successful change management.
You will mentor team members and support their professional development while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The position reports to the Associate Director of MPSO - Optimization.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree or 3+ years of equivalent experience, plus 3+ years in operations, health insurance, data analysis, engineering, or consulting. You need 2+ years of experience with data software (Excel, SQL, Python, or similar analytics tools), end-to-end project management, workflow design and improvement, and process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Theory of Constraints.
Bonus qualifications include a degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher. This is a hybrid role based in Tempe, Arizona, requiring 3 days per week in-office with Thursdays as a mandatory in-office day for team meetings.
