Salary: USD 87,188 - 114,434 / annual

Oscar Health is seeking an Associate, Inquiries and Investigations to join the Provider Data Operations team. This role is responsible for managing cross-functional implementations and projects that enhance processes impacting directory accuracy and filing submissions. You will lead end-to-end project management including plan creation, stakeholder engagement, edge case mitigation, and on-time delivery of data corrections and process improvements. Key responsibilities include evaluating departmental performance through data analysis and interpretation to inform technology-enabled solutions and establish key metrics. You will investigate risks and escalations collaboratively with leadership and internal/external stakeholders, formulating proactive strategies and driving continuous improvement initiatives through production release. The role also involves mentoring team members and fostering professional growth while promoting team collaboration to optimize operational efficiency. You will work with complex healthcare operations data, using tools such as Excel and SQL to analyze performance and inform recommendations to senior leadership. The position requires strong project management capabilities, workflow design and improvement experience, and the ability to develop and present strategic recommendations. The role reports to the Senior Manager, Provider Data Operations and is based in the Tempe, Arizona office with a hybrid schedule requiring 3 days in-office per week, with Thursdays as a mandatory in-office day for team meetings. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree or 3+ years equivalent experience, 3+ years in healthcare operations (payer/provider contracting, network management), 2+ years with data software (Excel, SQL, analytics tools), 2+ years of end-to-end project management, 2+ years designing and improving workflows with accompanying procedures, and 2+ years developing and presenting recommendations to senior leadership. Bonus qualifications include a degree in Engineering or Business Administration, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification, experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints), and healthcare-specific experience in ACA marketplace, provider networks, claims, quality, or provider data.
