Salary: USD 87,188 - 114,434 / annual
Oscar Health is seeking an Associate, Inquiries and Investigations to join the Provider Data Operations team. This role is fully remote, based in the Dallas, Texas metro area.
You will lead end-to-end management of cross-functional implementations and projects to enhance processes and execute data corrections that directly impact directory accuracy and filing submissions. Key responsibilities include:
• Managing project plans, stakeholder engagement, edge case mitigation, and on-time delivery of complex implementations
• Evaluating departmental performance by creating, gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform technology-enabled solutions and establish key metrics
• Investigating risks and escalations collaboratively with leadership, peers, and internal/external stakeholders to formulate proactive strategies and drive continuous improvement through production release
• Mentoring team members and fostering professional growth to optimize operational efficiency and achieve departmental targets
• Designing and improving workflows while establishing operating and technical procedures
• Developing and presenting information and recommendations to senior leadership
You will report to the Senior Manager, Provider Data Operations.
Required qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years commensurate experience
• 3+ years in payer/provider healthcare contracting, provider network management, healthcare operations, or related field
• 2+ years using data software (Excel, SQL, or other analytics tools)
• 2+ years end-to-end project management experience
• 2+ years designing and improving workflows with accompanying procedures
• 2+ years developing and presenting recommendations to senior leadership
Bonus qualifications include Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification, process improvement methodology experience (Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints), or ACA marketplace/provider network/claims/healthcare quality experience.
