Salary: USD 87,188 - 114,434 / annual
Oscar Health is seeking an Associate, Inquiries and Investigations to join the Provider Data Operations team. This role is fully remote and open to candidates residing in Atlanta, Georgia.
You will work cross-functionally with business and technical stakeholders to solve data process challenges and represent departmental interests in company-wide strategic initiatives. Your primary responsibilities include leading end-to-end implementations and data corrections to enhance processes that directly impact directory accuracy and filing submissions. You will investigate and resolve complex escalations and inquiries through production release, while driving comprehensive process documentation, maintaining project plans, and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end management of cross-functional implementations and projects, including project planning, stakeholder engagement, edge case mitigation, and on-time delivery
- Evaluate departmental performance by creating, gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform technology-enabled solutions and establish key metrics
- Investigate risks and escalations collaboratively with leadership, peers, and internal/external stakeholders to formulate proactive strategies
- Mentor team members and promote professional growth, fostering collaboration and driving operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of commensurate experience
- 3+ years of professional experience in payer or provider healthcare contracting, provider network management, healthcare operations, or related field
- 2+ years using data software (Excel, SQL, or other data analytics tools)
- 2+ years of end-to-end project management experience
- 2+ years designing and improving workflows with accompanying operating and technical procedures
- 2+ years developing and presenting information and recommendations to senior leadership
Bonus qualifications include a degree in Engineering or Business Administration, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification, process improvement methodology experience (Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints), and healthcare domain expertise (ACA marketplace, provider networks, claims, quality, or provider data).
