Salary: USD 96,876 - 127,149 / annual
Oscar Health is seeking an Associate, Inquiries and Investigations to join the Provider Data Operations team. This role is responsible for managing cross-functional implementations and projects that enhance processes impacting directory accuracy and filing submissions. You will investigate and resolve complex escalations and inquiries through production release, while driving comprehensive process documentation, maintaining project plans, and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end project management across teams, evaluating departmental performance through data analysis and interpretation, and collaboratively investigating risks and escalations with leadership and internal/external stakeholders. You will mentor team members, promote professional growth, and foster team collaboration to optimize operational efficiency and achieve departmental targets.
The role requires working cross-functionally with business and technical stakeholders to solve data process challenges and represent departmental interests in company-wide strategic initiatives. You will report to the Senior Manager, Provider Data Operations.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree or 3+ years of commensurate experience, 3+ years in payer or provider healthcare contracting, provider network management, or healthcare operations, 2+ years with data software (Excel, SQL, analytics tools), 2+ years of end-to-end project management experience, 2+ years designing and improving workflows with accompanying procedures, and 2+ years developing and presenting information to senior leadership.
Bonus qualifications include a degree in Engineering or Business Administration, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification, 2+ years with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints), and experience with ACA marketplace, provider networks, claims, healthcare quality, or provider data.
