As Associate Implementation Manager, you'll be the primary operational contact managing implementations for small and mid-market health plan groups. You'll own the full onboarding lifecycle—from eligibility validation and technical configuration to marketing readiness and launch coordination. This is a cross-functional role where you'll work with Customer Success, Sales, Product, and partner teams to ensure smooth, on-time launches that exceed customer expectations.
Key responsibilities include: managing project plans and timelines across internal and external teams; coordinating technical and operational launch requirements; identifying and escalating risks early; building trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders; and contributing to process improvements that help scale partnership implementations.
Within 90 days, you'll onboard to Virta's methodology and systems, lead portions of client launches, manage group implementations across 1-2 reseller partners, and build cross-functional relationships while delivering high-satisfaction outcomes.
Required: 2+ years in implementation, client onboarding, or healthcare operations (ideally digital health, health plans, or PBM partnerships); proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder projects with precision; strong customer communication and relationship-building skills; technical/operational aptitude in data exchange, eligibility workflows, or healthcare integration; ability to identify risks and deliver quality implementations.
Virta is remote-first with office hubs in Denver and San Francisco. The role involves potential exposure to HIPAA-protected patient information; security and privacy training provided. Compensation: $84,000–$108,500/year based on qualifications and experience.
