Kraken, one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms with over 10 million users, is seeking an Associate II in Product Operations for Krak, its consumer banking and payments product. This role sits at the intersection of product, compliance, risk, and operations, ensuring that new features launch safely and quickly without being derailed by regulatory, vendor, or operational dependencies.
You will report to the Manager, Product Ops - Krak and serve as one of two product operations professionals on the team. Your responsibilities span four core areas:
**Compliance & Risk Coordination:** Maintain live trackers of compliance and legal items with clear ownership and milestones. Triage new features against regulatory requirements before development begins and ensure sign-off is built into delivery timelines. Work closely with fraud leads to ensure fraud controls and risk/velocity rules are factored into feature design. Prepare fraud and customer engagement teams with necessary tooling, access, battlecards, and support materials ahead of launches. Support incident response and ensure post-incident reviews feed back into product improvements.
**Third Party Vendor Management:** Own vendor trackers covering status, actions, contacts, and milestones. Manage the cadence for vendor performance reviews and track actions to closure. Maintain visibility into vendor roadmaps and capabilities, producing periodic briefings on how vendor developments create product opportunities or constraints.
**Management Information & Feature Performance:** Ensure experiments and launches are supported by fraud, dispute, and customer engagement metrics alongside commercial KPIs. Interpret fraud, dispute, and authentication/decline data to identify emerging issues and escalate to appropriate teams. Drive follow-through on cross-functional findings, whether compliance flags or vendor issues.
**Strategic Market Intelligence:** Monitor competitors' feature, pricing, and risk positioning changes. Track regulatory and market developments affecting the Krak roadmap. Identify third-party vendor capabilities that could enable new features and flag where the current stack may be constraining.
This is a coordination and intelligence function where you'll ensure the right conversations happen at the right time and nothing falls through the cracks on the path to launch.

- Familiarity with third-party banking and payments vendors (BIN sponsors, scheme processors, TPP aggregators)
- Prior experience in fast-scaling consumer fintech or neobank
- Exposure to crypto or digital assets products
