Salary: USD 80,000 - 110,000 / annual

Via Transportation is building the technology backbone for modern public transit systems globally. As Associate General Manager on the Operations team in Baton Rouge, you'll manage daily on-site operations of a transit service, overseeing a team of local field operators and drivers. Key responsibilities include: - Managing daily onsite operations to ensure safe, reliable, and accessible transportation for riders - Making real-time decisions on fleet management, driver supply, compliance, and operational issues - Managing the full employee lifecycle for drivers: scheduling, PTO approvals, performance conversations, and policy adherence - Optimizing driver work schedules to meet service demand - Serving as the operational bridge between city partners, drivers, unions, and community leaders - Using data and technology to diagnose problems and implement efficiency improvements - Ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, and company regulations - Leading, coaching, and developing an engaged driver team You bring 4-6+ years of operations management experience and a Bachelor's degree. You're an independent self-starter comfortable with high responsibility in fast-paced environments. You communicate tactfully across diverse stakeholders, execute with meticulous attention to detail, and lead teams effectively. You're flexible, adaptable, and thrive solving problems creatively. You're based in or willing to relocate to the Baton Rouge area. This is a fully in-person role requiring 4-5 days onsite weekly, with potential early mornings or evenings. Salary range: $80,000–$110,000 annually, plus equity/variable pay where applicable. Benefits include free medical plans and 401K matching.
