Wealthsimple, Canada's leading financial innovator, is seeking an Associate for Corporate Account Operations to join the Brokerage Account Operations group. Reporting to the Manager of Non-Personal Account Operations, you will be responsible for the operational execution of corporate and non-personal account onboarding, including reviewing KYB/KYC information, verifying documentation, and updating systems to ensure accounts are ready for use and easy to service. Key responsibilities include processing day-to-day onboarding requests for corporate and other non-personal entities, reviewing beneficial ownership details and corporate documentation with high accuracy, and completing account opening, updates, and maintenance tasks across systems while ensuring data integrity and audit readiness. You will follow established SOPs and checklists, escalate edge cases to Senior Associates or your Manager, and maintain strong awareness of CIRO and FINTRAC regulatory expectations. You will deliver accurate, reliable, and compliant operations by performing error-free tasks, using operational tools to track work and monitor SLAs, and maintaining security and privacy protocols. The role includes supporting process improvement by suggesting actionable workflow enhancements, helping maintain SOPs and internal documentation, and participating in small projects to streamline operations. Collaboration is central to the role. You will work closely with teammates across Registered & Complex Accounts, CXO, BDR, Funding/Internal Transfers, AML, and Compliance to resolve account issues and provide clear, hypothesis-driven updates. You will engage effectively with peers, help onboard newer team members in your areas of expertise, and take active ownership of your professional development through regular feedback and coaching. Required qualifications include 1-3 years of operations experience in financial services (brokerage, banking, wealth management, or fintech) with exposure to onboarding or account administration, and a minimum of 1 year working with corporate, trust, or non-personal entity accounts in a CIRO-regulated environment. You must be familiar with Canadian regulatory frameworks (FINTRAC, CIRO, CRA guidance) related to non-personal entity onboarding. You should demonstrate solution orientation and problem-solving skills, exceptional attention to detail, analytical rigor, and the ability to prioritize work using an 80/20 mindset.
