Salary: USD 119,200 - 196,750 / annual

Moody's is seeking an Assistant Vice President to lead strategic sourcing and supplier optimization across Human Resources and Marketing enterprise-wide. This highly visible role serves as Global Category Manager, responsible for end-to-end sourcing of key supplier agreements across HR and Marketing categories, including managing strategic sourcing events such as RFPs, RFIs, and targeted negotiations. Key responsibilities include developing and managing category strategies across HR-related and Marketing spend areas, including benefits, talent acquisition, advertising, media, digital marketing, and public relations. You will analyze spend, supplier markets, business requirements, and external market trends to identify strategic savings opportunities and value-delivery targets. The role requires proactive category planning and renewal pipeline management in collaboration with senior business stakeholders. You will collaborate with third-party benchmark providers to validate pricing proposals and negotiate competitive purchase agreements, while partnering cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, and Technology to align sourcing strategy with enterprise priorities. Building influential relationships with senior business leaders to drive executive-level commercial decisions and support stakeholder alignment is critical. The ideal candidate will leverage analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve sourcing efficiency, enhance decision-making, and deliver measurable business outcomes. You will bring 7–10 years of Human Resources and Marketing Sourcing and Category Management experience in large global corporations, with a proven track record of leading complex sourcing initiatives and commercial negotiations across multiple spend categories. Required qualifications include deep knowledge of the Benefits supplier landscape and commercial models across medical, pharmacy, dental, vision, wellness, retirement-related services, voluntary benefits, benefits administration, and employee assistance programs. Strong stakeholder and supplier relationship management skills with executive-level relationship experience are essential. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
