Join GOAT Group's Operations team as Assistant Manager of Fulfillment at our Fontana, CA facility. You'll oversee a critical 3PL fulfillment operation serving a global marketplace for authenticated sneakers and collectibles, managing tens of millions of products annually.
Key responsibilities include:
**Labor & Resource Planning**: Strategically forecast and allocate labor across multiple client accounts, executing dynamic flex strategies to shift headcount mid-shift based on real-time volume surges and processing bottlenecks.
**SLA & Compliance Management**: Ensure 100% compliance with diverse, client-specific service level agreements, managing varying order cut-off times, carrier shipping windows, and specialized value-added services.
**Client Request Management**: Partner with Account Management to prioritize and execute ad-hoc client requests—urgent cancellations, inventory sweeps, special kitting, priority re-routes—without disrupting core warehouse throughput.
**Operational Accountability**: Own daily operational metrics including Cost Per Order, fulfillment accuracy, and process compliance. Proactively identify and escalate bottlenecks, system outages, or carrier delays using structured escalation protocols.
**People Leadership**: Manage and develop the Fulfillment team through scheduling, coaching, performance management, and training. Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement aligned with company values.
**Inventory & Supply Control**: Manage inventory replenishment and client-specific custom packaging to prevent production downtime.
**Quality Assurance**: Support quality control across inbound and outbound processes, develop SOPs, and ensure optimal client experience.
You'll work in a dynamic warehouse environment with heavy equipment, requiring the ability to lift and move boxes up to 35 pounds. The role demands availability for extended hours, including weekends and holidays during peak periods.
Required: 2-5 years managing teams in fast-paced 3PL or multi-client e-commerce fulfillment. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication, high organizational ability, and quick decision-making under pressure. Knowledge of sneaker industry trends is valued.
