As Area Manager II for Inventory Control & Quality Assurance (ICQA), you will oversee all ICQA operations at an assigned fulfillment facility, managing a team of ICQA Leads and Associates. You'll be responsible for executing cycle counts, physical inventories, audits, investigations, and reconciliations while ensuring consistent application of standard operating procedures and KPI tracking.
Key responsibilities include: managing inventory shrink and warehouse bin accuracy; reviewing daily/weekly performance data to identify trends and high-risk areas; conducting weekly reviews with the ICQA Operations Manager to drive continuous improvement; ensuring compliance with customer-specific quality requirements; supporting corrective action processes (CAPA) and audit responses; and developing your team through coaching and mentorship to build a culture of accuracy and accountability.
You'll work in a high-volume distribution center environment, performing standard work audits, gap evaluations, and root cause analysis. The role requires flexibility including overtime, evenings, and weekends as business needs dictate.
Required qualifications: 2–4 years' experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory systems in high-volume facilities; previous leadership experience; Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience; strong organizational, time management, and communication skills; proficiency with basic clerical and data entry tasks; ability to work independently and under pressure; ability to transport up to 20 lbs and operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts); and comfort working in a distribution center environment with varying temperatures, heights, and noise levels.
Bonus qualifications: Microsoft Office Suite proficiency; Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, Business Administration, or related field; and experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen).
