ShipBob is seeking an Area Manager for Fulfillment Operations at their Fort Worth facility. This is a people-first leadership role responsible for directly managing and developing a team of leads and associates within the fulfillment center. The Area Manager will drive process improvement initiatives, maintain a safe work environment, track operational performance across key metrics, foster employee engagement, and own the development of their team members.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and mentoring a team of fulfillment center leads and associates
- Driving continuous process improvement and operational efficiency
- Maintaining safety standards and compliance across the facility
- Monitoring and reporting on operational performance metrics

- Collaborating across departments and shifts to contribute to operational excellence
- Gaining exposure to all aspects of fulfillment and logistics operations
The role reports to the Operations Manager, Fulfillment Operations. This position offers exposure across multiple departments and shifts, providing diverse experience in fulfillment and logistics operations. The shift is night shift (Sunday-Wednesday) at the Fort Worth facility (11401 Harmon Rd).
