ShipBob is seeking an Area Manager for Fulfillment Operations at their Fort Worth facility. This is a people-first leadership role responsible for directly managing and developing a team of leads and associates within the fulfillment center. The Area Manager will drive process improvement initiatives, maintain a safe work environment, track operational performance across key metrics, foster employee engagement, and own the development of their team members.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and developing a direct team of leads and associates
- Driving process improvement and operational excellence
- Maintaining safety standards and compliance across the facility
- Tracking and reporting on operational performance metrics
- Fostering employee engagement and creating a positive onsite culture
- Owning team development and career growth initiatives
- Gaining exposure across departments and shifts to understand all aspects of fulfillment and logistics operations
- Contributing to both operational and cultural excellence
The role reports to the Operations Manager, Fulfillment Operations. As ShipBob scales, this position is critical to delivering excellent service to clients while maintaining sustainable growth and operational scalability.
