Braze is seeking a senior, highly technical Applications & Integrations Lead to own the architecture, governance, strategic roadmap, and support of the GTM, CX, and platform technology ecosystem. You will lead a newly formed Applications & Integrations team, merging team leadership with hands-on expertise in Salesforce, application management, and integrations to establish operational frameworks that keep systems stable, secure, compliant, and audit-ready.
Key responsibilities include:
• Establish and execute governance frameworks and application lifecycle management for the Salesforce ecosystem and GTM/CX applications, maintaining SOX and ITGC compliance
• Own the project lifecycle for all net-new integrations, designing, developing, and deploying system integrations using scalable patterns
• Serve as a key stakeholder for data model sign-off and data flow alignment with enterprise architecture standards
• Administer the Tray.io iPaaS platform and lead delivery of scalable automations across the ecosystem
• Proactively engage stakeholders by translating requirements from GTM, CX, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and other teams into strategic, well-documented solutions
• Maintain documentation for system architecture, processes, and procedures; lead change management for integrations and applications
• Collaborate with Support Specialists to provide hands-on escalation management across Salesforce and related applications, ensuring prompt triage and resolution
You bring at least 5 years of application administration experience in mid-to-large scale environments (500+ users), with deep knowledge of Salesforce integration methods including Connected Apps, OAuth, and REST/SOAP APIs. You have strong experience implementing change management, data governance frameworks, and ensuring compliance with audit expectations and SOX/ITGC guidelines. You are skilled with integration middleware such as Workato, Mulesoft, or Tray.io, and comfortable guiding complex technical projects with multi-directional, cross-functional dependencies. You have familiarity with SaaS tools like Gong, Outreach, Marketo, and Clari, and exceptional interpersonal skills to convey technical complexities to non-technical partners.
Preferred qualifications include experience establishing new business functions or architectural infrastructure from the ground up, proven capability to balance long-term enterprise engineering with daily support requests, and relevant certifications such as Salesforce Platform App Builder, Advanced Administrator, or Salesforce Architect.
