The Tax team ensures compliance across the group, managing sales taxes, deal structuring, reporting obligations, and identifying tax optimization opportunities. The team works closely with external advisors and defines tax parameters for new business activities while solving compliance issues across markets. As Tax Manager, you will play a key role within Fever's Tax practice, reporting to the Head of Tax. You will demonstrate ownership, leadership, and proactivity in managing the tax compliance and strategy of a global, high-growth business. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and develop a growing tax team, fostering collaboration and accountability - Own and manage the comprehensive tax calendar for direct and indirect taxes across all relevant jurisdictions - Coordinate and review indirect and direct tax compliance processes - Research and analyze specific indirect and direct taxation matters and provide tailored advice - Identify risks and potential tax planning opportunities - Determine uncertain tax exposures and manage appropriate taxation provisioning - Collaborate with third-party service providers as required - Work with Finance & Accounting teams to ensure adequate knowledge and application of taxation laws - Support all indirect and direct tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities (alongside third-party providers and local finance teams) - Prepare applications for taxation rulings, tax incentives, and tax exemptions where available - Provide advice to senior management on taxation risks and appropriate transaction structures concerning acquisitions - Contribute to improvements and solutions of tax processes Requirements: - At least 5 years of relevant senior experience in taxation gained in practice or industry, with a focus on the APAC region - Proven experience managing, mentoring, or leading team members - Solid experience establishing and monitoring tax calendars for direct and indirect taxes - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Law, or Tax - Finance-oriented mindset with proven tax knowledge across multiple European jurisdictions - Proficient Excel user - Detail-oriented, organized worker with strong project management skills - Fluent English; other languages a plus - Alignment with company culture: seeing opportunity in obstacles, efficiency, flexibility, proactivity, prioritization, continuous improvement, follow-through, and entrepreneurial ambition
