inDrive is hiring an Android Engineer to develop features for its Intercity platform, which covers intercity rides and parcel delivery across 35+ countries in LATAM, MENA, Central and South Asia, and Southeast Asia.
In this role, you will develop and maintain features for passenger and driver client applications. You'll work with geolocation, maps, and real-time order status systems. Key responsibilities include running A/B experiments, managing feature flags, and implementing analytics events. You'll participate in code reviews, write comprehensive tests, and co-design solutions collaboratively with backend and iOS engineers. The team embraces an AI-First development approach, using tools like Claude Code and Copilot to accelerate development.
This is a hands-on engineering position focused on building reliable, scalable mobile experiences for a two-sided marketplace operating at global scale.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of commercial Android development with Kotlin
- Strong knowledge of Coroutines, Flow, MVVM/MVI architecture patterns, and dependency injection (Dagger/Hilt)
- Experience with Jetpack Compose
- Experience working with multi-module projects and Gradle
- Understanding of networking, caching, and handling unstable connections
- Experience with unit testing
- English level B1+ (intermediate-upper intermediate)
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with maps and geo services (Google Maps, 2GIS)
- Experience with Play Integrity, fake GPS protection, or anti-fraud solutions
- Experience with Spec-First or AI-assisted development approaches
