Salary: CAD 145,000 - 205,000 / annual
Affirm is seeking an Analytics Lead to join the Growth Analytics International team, responsible for establishing and scaling the operational analytics framework as the company expands into new international markets, starting with Australia. This is a high-impact role combining analytical rigor with business acumen to drive growth and profitability across consumer and merchant products.
You will own end-to-end analytics for international market launches, translating complex business problems into data-driven solutions. Key responsibilities include: establishing scalable measurement and reporting frameworks for new markets; proactively identifying growth and profitability opportunities through analysis; defining success metrics, generating insights, and building intuitive dashboards; designing and running experiments to validate product-market fit; conducting weekly cross-functional metric reviews; and mentoring junior analysts.
You'll partner across Product, Risk, Finance, Commercial, and Operations to align strategies and execute business objectives. The role requires balancing multiple workstreams, prioritizing an analytics roadmap, and translating findings into compelling narratives for leadership. You'll operate with a business owner mindset, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor across the organization.
Affirm is a remote-first company with flexible work arrangements. The role includes an in-person onboarding experience and occasional office visits as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitatively rigorous field (statistics, mathematics, finance, economics)
- 5+ years of proven success in cross-functional analytical roles
- Strong understanding of consumer lending and credit industry, including lending economics, portfolio performance, and credit metrics
- Experience supporting international lending markets (Europe and/or APAC highly desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to balance growth objectives with profitability
- Practical and theoretical knowledge of A/B testing
- Proficiency with SQL and statistical analysis using Python
- Experience with AI-powered tools (Cursor, Claude, or similar) to accelerate analysis and automate workflows
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated curiosity, growth mindset, and ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
- Previous experience mentoring and guiding junior analysts
