Lottie is building the AI operating system for social care, with a mission to unlock profitability for care providers and make finding care as easy as booking a holiday. The company has raised £25m+ from tier-1 VCs (Accel, General Catalyst) and is recognized as one of Europe's fastest-growing tech companies.
You will own Lottie's analytics function end-to-end, from stack to strategy. Working directly with C-level leadership, you'll be embedded in the business from day one—joining trading meetings, understanding what drives the business, and translating Lottie's unique data asset into clear, opinionated recommendations that shape product and drive growth. As the company doubles down on AI across its products, you'll play a central role in modeling growth and understanding user behavior.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the analytics function: setting strategy, maintaining and improving the stack (Dataform, BigQuery, Fivetran, Hex, Metabase), and serving as the go-to data person across the business.
- Being commercially embedded: joining trading meetings, understanding business drivers, and translating context into data priorities.
- Delivering insights to leadership: turning complex analysis into clear, opinionated recommendations for C-level and board.
- Aligning stakeholders: working across commercial, product, and finance to agree on priorities and pushing back when work won't move the needle.
- Building analytical models: from marketplace supply/demand optimization to understanding what makes a care shortlist lead to successful matches—going well beyond dashboards.
- Setting standards: establishing ways of working, data quality, and a culture of curiosity across the business.
- Championing AI-powered workflows: using Claude, Codex, or equivalent as part of daily practice and enabling self-service analytics across the business.
You'll solve problems including marketplace intelligence (modeling supply/demand to optimize matching, pricing, and provider acquisition), product analytics (understanding how care providers and families interact with the platform, running experiments), commercial decision-making (driving growth, optimizing partner acquisition funnels, supporting board reporting), and building data culture.
Every insight you generate connects directly to the quality of care families find for their loved ones. Better matching, smarter recommendations, and sharper commercial decisions improve outcomes for vulnerable people in the UK.
Requirements:
- 8+ years' experience in analytics, ideally in a data-rich business where data is make-or-break.
- Thrived in a fast-moving startup in a senior position; comfortable with pace and ambiguity.
- Strong individual contributor who can also lead; comfortable being the most senior data person in the room and setting direction for function growth.
- Analytical thinker who picks up business quickly; can walk into a trading meeting, understand what matters, and return with insights that change decisions.
- Clear communicator who brings people with you; can explain complex analysis simply and represent analytics to any audience from engineers to the board.
- Confident pushing back; bring hypotheses and recommendations, not just answers; challenge assumptions and help the business understand what it should be asking.
- Hands-on technically; use agents to write SQL and comfortable building/maintaining data pipelines end-to-end.
- All-in on AI tooling; coding assistants are part of your daily workflow, not something you've heard of; can speak concretely about how you use them to do more, faster.
- Genuinely excited by Lottie's mission to transform the care sector.
