In this role, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, helping them solve complex process challenges and maximize value from our software. You'll work directly with end users to design scalable, high-impact analytics solutions that drive engagement, adoption, and tangible business outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
**Customer Technical Adoption**
- Build relationships with customer champions and end-users through solution reviews, implementation guidance, and technical mentorship
- Uncover high-value use case opportunities directly linked to customers' critical business workflows and objectives
- Collaborate with customers and account teams to develop and execute strategic adoption plans for Seeq
- Advise on implementation and operationalization of use cases to deliver strong ROI
**Product Expertise**
- Maintain deep knowledge of how to implement and troubleshoot solutions in the platform
- Identify capability gaps and provide feedback to influence the product roadmap
- Work with the product team to implement and test new functionalities
**Industry Expertise**
- Build trust through application of industry-specific knowledge and awareness of market trends
- Collaborate with internal teams (industry principals, product marketing, solution consulting) on industry-specific strategy
You'll be a key customer-facing team member who independently prioritizes work based on account strategy, customer needs, and company objectives.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a technical field: chemical, mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering; operations research, data analytics, or applied math also considered
- Minimum 2 years of experience in process engineering, reliability engineering, technical pre-sales engineering (SaaS/OT space preferred), or related industry fields
- Experience in one or more industrial process manufacturing verticals (oil & gas, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, power & utilities, metals & mining, food & beverage, pulp & paper, etc.) with working understanding of market drivers and business priorities
- Understanding of real-world challenges in solving business and industrial problems involving dense time-series process data with inadequate or overly complex analytics tools (Excel, MATLAB, Python, BI tools)
- Responsive and adept at building trust and rapport with customers, partners, and internal multidisciplinary teams
- Effective technical communicator who can dissect, articulate, and translate customer needs; able to communicate with subject matter experts and managers
- Ability to consult on technical solutions leveraging latest features and broader technology landscape
- Ability to independently prioritize work based on account strategy, customer needs, and company objectives
Plus factors: prior Seeq experience, Python programming skills, broad knowledge of SaaS industrial analytics ecosystem (Azure, AWS, Databricks, AVEVA, Aspen Tech, IOTA, Cognite, C3.ai, Palantir, etc.)
