FIS is seeking a Senior Implementation Analyst to lead debit platform implementations and migrations for financial institution clients. As the primary client-facing lead, you will guide clients through the complete implementation lifecycle—from initiation through post-go-live support—for debit solutions including Payments One Debit and similar platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading end-to-end client implementations and migrations, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle
- Partnering with clients to define products and configure debit solutions, including BIN setup, card programs, limits, fees, and transaction controls
- Conducting detailed data analysis and mapping, translating client data into technical specifications for system configuration and conversion accuracy
- Creating and validating transaction workflows and conversion mappings to ensure accurate field and process translation into FIS platforms
- Driving testing and validation activities (SIT, UAT, readiness reviews) to confirm system setup, data integrity, and operational readiness
- Guiding clients through readiness, training, and procedural updates to ensure proper system adoption post-conversion
- Leading conversion execution and providing onsite/virtual cutover support, troubleshooting issues and validating outputs
- Providing ongoing support throughout the migration lifecycle, including issue resolution and post-conversion stabilization
Required qualifications:
- 5–8+ years of experience in payments, debit processing, or financial services implementations
- Strong expertise in debit processing (authorization, clearing, settlement, transaction flows)
- Proven ability to support clients through configuration and migration, translating business requirements into system setup
- Demonstrated experience in data mapping, data validation, and system conversion execution
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and client relationship management skills
- Ability to manage multiple implementations in a fast-paced, high-risk environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Preferred qualifications include experience with Payments One Debit, EFT switch migrations, ISO 8583 messaging, or banking/debit card operations.
The role is hybrid (Tuesdays–Thursdays onsite in Milwaukee) with standard business hours, flexibility during implementations, overtime during critical migration periods, and weekend availability for conversion events. Travel up to 10–15% required.
