Sportradar, a NASDAQ-listed sports technology leader, is seeking an Analyst for Revenue Planning and Performance Analytics to join the Financial Planning & Analysis organization. Reporting to the VP of Revenue Performance & Planning, you will serve as the primary performance auditor of commercial outcomes across a business targeting 15% revenue CAGR while expanding margins and cash conversion.
Your core mission is to move beyond reporting numbers to interrogating performance data and recommending actions that maximize value. You will identify the "why" behind revenue trends, translate complex findings into compelling narratives for senior stakeholders, and drive business decisions through rigorous financial and commercial analysis.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proactive revenue performance analysis to identify specific revenue drivers (usage, churn, pricing, market dynamics) that require management focus
- Revenue forecast pressure-testing to ensure global P&L inputs are achievable and rooted in actionable drivers
- Logic refinement to identify and dismantle broken assumptions in commercial plans, rebuilding them into robust frameworks
- Causal synthesis to translate technical and commercial data into clear, authoritative narratives
- Driver autopsy to conduct deep-dives into revenue beats or misses, distinguishing one-time windfalls from structural trends
- Planning guidance to lead commercial counterparts through forecasting and budgeting processes
- Business modeling for complex topics such as pricing elasticity and market entry costs
- Automated revenue reporting using advanced analytical tools on data warehouse and billing datasets to steer commercial decision-making
You will work within a finance organization that combines financial discipline with commercial acumen and advanced analytics to unlock opportunities in a market growing at double-digit rates annually.
Requirements:
- 2–5 years in multidisciplinary finance, analytics, and/or consulting roles
- Proficiency in either commercial finance or commercial analytics
- Bachelor's degree (master's preferred)
- Essential: SQL, Power BI/Tableau, and AI agents knowledge
- Highly valued: Python or n8n/workflow automation experience
- Accountability mindset; value plan strength over delivery speed
- Strong questioning ability; refusal to accept surface-level explanations
- Ability to provide the "so-what" insight that others miss
- Problem-solving orientation; comfort untangling messy data to find clear paths forward
