Deliveroo's Global Safety and Security team is seeking an Analyst to join the Regional Security Operations Center (ROC) in London. This is a frontline role in a 24/7 global operations environment responsible for real-time monitoring, incident triage, and operational response to protect people, assets, and operations across the region.
You will operate the ROC in real time, monitoring dashboards, alerts, inbound reports, and open-source signals to identify security, safety, and operational incidents as they emerge. Your responsibilities include triaging incidents and executing standard operating procedures through accurate documentation, coordination, and information validation. You'll apply analytical tradecraft to conduct initial fact-finding and source validation, distinguishing signal from noise and providing clear operational context to support timely escalation to management.
You'll support escalation and handover processes by delivering structured, decision-ready information and conducting disciplined shift handovers to ensure seamless continuous operations. You'll also participate in drills, retrospectives, and continuous improvement efforts to strengthen ROC readiness and workflows.
Essential qualifications include demonstrated capability in a GSOC, ROC, SOC, or comparable 24/7 operations or incident response environment. You need strong understanding of incident management, including triage, escalation protocols, and operational playbooks under pressure. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required to deliver clear, structured operational context to leaders and cross-functional partners. You must have foundational analytical capability to assess information quality, track ongoing global events, and perform consistently with high attention to detail across rotating shifts. Technical fluency with monitoring dashboards, ticketing systems, and communication platforms is essential, along with flexibility to work rotating shifts.
Nice-to-have qualifications include basic OSINT familiarity and a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional or military experience.
