Zocdoc is a leading digital health marketplace helping millions of patients find and book healthcare providers. The company is expanding its infrastructure to power access to care across multiple platforms and touchpoints.
As a QA Analyst, you will strengthen Zocdoc's quality ecosystem by ensuring that every issue entering the engineering pipeline is accurate, validated, reproducible, and data-backed. You will partner closely with QA Engineers, Product Engineers, and cross-functional teams to transform raw triage data into actionable insights that improve product quality, accelerate issue resolution, and enable better decision-making.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
**Triage Operations & Issue Validation**
- Review, reproduce, and validate all reported issues for accuracy and completeness
- Determine root ownership using internal tools, logs, and monitoring data
- Ensure only well-documented, reproducible issues progress to Embedded QA or Product Engineering
- Maintain structured triage workflows and meet SLAs during coverage windows, including night triage rotation
**Data Collection, Automation & Reporting**
- Automate periodic data pulls and dashboards from Jira and QA systems
- Develop scripts and tools to streamline triage and reporting workflows
- Analyze triage trends (volume, ownership, product areas, resolution patterns)
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly triage reports with insights and recommended actions
**Insight Generation & Quality Decision Support**
- Identify recurring issue patterns and high-impact problem areas
- Surface data-backed insights to guide product quality improvements
- Partner with QA Engineers and Embedded QAs to provide quality intelligence and documentation support
**Process & Reporter Enablement**
- Create and maintain triage playbooks, reusable queries, and data templates
- Identify reporter friction points and propose training or documentation improvements
- Support QA enablement, knowledge-sharing, and process optimization efforts
**AI-Driven Analytics & Predictive Quality**
- Collaborate on AI-based reporting, predictive triage, and anomaly detection
- Help shape future AI-assisted decision-making frameworks

You are motivated by uncovering patterns, trends, and root causes, and you are a self-starter who enjoys diving deep into issues and data.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data, or a related field
- 2+ years of work experience
- Strong analytical skills and root cause identification ability
- Exposure to Jira querying, SQL, Google Sheets, or App Scripts
- Inclination toward automation and data-driven problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
