DailyPay is seeking an Analyst I for its Mission Control team to serve as a first-line monitor of the Data Exchange ecosystem. This queue-facing role focuses on managing and resolving data flow issues between DailyPay and partner systems with high precision and rapid escalation when needed.
Key responsibilities include monitoring Data Exchange alerts and queues to identify anomalies, performing deep-dive research into technical issues to understand root causes, and escalating operational risks early. You will execute standard operating procedures while blending runbook execution with analytical investigation to resolve complex alerts. The role requires proactive incident identification and reporting, supporting the resolution process from detection through root-cause analysis with guidance from senior analysts. You will also compile relevant details for cross-functional partners on escalations and develop familiarity with payroll and money movement processes to understand the business context of Data Exchange operations.
This position follows a fixed schedule of Wednesday–Sunday, 7am–4pm ET, reflecting the need for continuous monitoring in a fast-paced environment. You are expected to perform high-quality execution, identify trends through data analysis to support proactive detection, and flag outdated procedures to leadership.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree or 1+ years of relevant experience in an operational or real-time monitoring environment. You should demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong prioritization and time-management skills, resourcefulness in problem-solving, and an aptitude for learning foundational technical skills such as basic querying or monitoring tools. Strong communication and cross-team collaboration abilities are essential, including willingness to support critical business needs outside standard hours when necessary.
