Cyera is hiring a Security Operations Analyst to join its 24/7 operations team supporting enterprise AI data security. The role sits at the intersection of security operations and customer success, monitoring and analyzing security events across customer environments using the Cyera platform.
You will become technically proficient in the Cyera platform and develop expertise in analyzing security logs and events (vulnerability management, DLP, EDR, SIEM). Core responsibilities include monitoring customer environments for key events and data points, preparing reports with remediation recommendations, and tracking security posture through dashboards and trend analysis. You'll leverage AI and automation to efficiently diagnose and triage complex security events, with basic scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) used to automate repetitive tasks and data parsing.
The role requires strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, meticulous attention to detail for accurate incident documentation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. You'll partner with the Customer Success Engineering team to deliver agreed-upon outcomes, support customers through onboarding and implementation phases, and assist with incident response when needed. Additional responsibilities include preparing open-source and dark web intelligence reports, supporting peer analysts, and helping the Customer Success team resolve customer issues and secure renewals.
This is a 24/7/365 operations role, so shift work and on-call responsibilities are expected. The ideal candidate is eager to learn new security technologies, stay updated on evolving threats, and adapt to a dynamic threat landscape.
