iCapital is seeking a Compliance Analyst/Associate to join its Regulatory and Compliance team, focusing on AML/KYC review and approval processes for private fund investors. This role sits at the intersection of regulatory compliance and investor onboarding, ensuring adherence to anti-money laundering and know-your-customer requirements across the firm's alternative investment platform.
Key responsibilities include reviewing investor and client AML/KYC documentation, conducting ongoing monitoring and quarterly reporting reviews, performing third-party reliance testing, conducting AML screening reviews and dispositions, and collaborating with business lines to provide compliance guidance on new initiatives. You will also assist in preparing for and responding to regulatory inquiries and audits.
The role requires strong knowledge of US securities regulations (Investment Company Act of 1940, Securities Act of 1933) and Cayman Islands Anti-Money Laundering Regulations, with practical experience using AML screening vendor tools such as LexisNexis, Worldcheck, or ComplyAdvantage. You will work in the Lisbon office four days per week with Friday remote flexibility.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 1–4 years of experience in alternatives, preferably with both broker-dealer and registered investment advisor backgrounds
- Strong knowledge of Investment Company Act of 1940, Securities Act of 1933, and Cayman Islands Anti-Money Laundering Regulations
- AML/KYC knowledge specific to private fund investor regulatory requirements
- Hands-on experience with AML screening resolution vendor tools (LexisNexis, Worldcheck, ComplyAdvantage, or similar)
- Excellent verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with a continuous learning mindset
- Self-motivated with robust project management and process development skills
- ACAMS certification preferred but not required
- JD preferred but not required
