Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, is seeking a Compliance Analyst to join its compliance team in Astana, Kazakhstan. This role sits at the intersection of regulatory oversight and operational execution, supporting the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) in maintaining Binance's industry-leading compliance posture.
You will be responsible for reviewing and implementing internal compliance policies, conducting ongoing assessments, and supporting internal audit reviews. Key responsibilities include tracking compliance items for new product and service launches, handling and verifying client on-boarding applications within service-level agreements, and conducting customer due diligence using industry-standard tools such as Thomson Reuters, Worldcheck, KYC vendors, and Chainalysis.
The role requires proficiency in risk assessments, periodic and trigger-based reviews, and enhanced due diligence procedures. You will monitor and document unusual activity and AML flags, work closely with compliance checkers to ensure effective multi-level customer verification processes, and participate in internal and external training programs on AML/CFT and related compliance topics.
A strong understanding of local and AIFC (Astana International Financial Centre) laws, regulations, and emerging virtual currency policies is essential. You will collaborate with the compliance team to ensure adherence to all applicable standards and contribute to the continuous improvement of compliance processes.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3–5 years of directly related experience in a legal or compliance role with substantial knowledge of relevant rules, regulations, and day-to-day compliance affairs
- Fluent in Kazakh, Russian, and English
- Undergraduate degree required; law degree is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to write effectively
