Impiricus is an AI-powered HCP (Healthcare Provider) Engagement Engine founded by a practicing physician and senior pharmaceutical executive. Named the #1 fastest-growing company in North America on Deloitte's 2025 Fast 500 list, Impiricus connects life sciences companies with healthcare providers through ethical, AI-driven channels to reduce go-to-market costs and accelerate patient access to treatments. You will join as an Internal AI Solutions Architect, acting as a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) bridging grassroots AI innovations with enterprise-grade stability. You will report to both the central AI hub team and the business unit you support, working across StratOps, Commercial Ops, and other business units rapidly prototyping high-impact internal AI tools. Key Responsibilities: • Prototype Incubation & Auditing: Evaluate "vibe-coded" AI tools and automations built by non-technical business units to assess commercial ROI, security posture, and architectural viability. • Production Refactoring: Take ownership of high-value internal prototypes (e.g., AI SDRs, RFP generators) and refactor them into secure, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. • LLM Orchestration & Integration: Build and maintain secure integrations between foundational models (via APIs) and Impiricus's internal systems, specifically the Enterprise Data Lake and Salesforce CRM. • Full-Lifecycle Maintenance: Act as the technical owner for all "graduated" internal AI applications, ensuring high uptime, managing prompt drift, and updating API connections as internal schemas change. • Cross-Functional Product Management: Interview business stakeholders to map operational bottlenecks, ruthlessly define scope, and manage expectations regarding AI experiences versus standard dashboards. • Governance Enforcement: Apply Enterprise Data & Analytics standards to all internal tooling, ensuring zero data leakage, strict access controls, and mitigation of hallucination risks. You will not build foundational models; instead, you will help the commercial team leverage AI to redesign workflows and generate revenue while supporting business-built prototypes and graduating them into secure, scalable, maintainable internal products. REQUIREMENTS: • Product/Product Design Experience: 5+ years identifying high-value problems, designing effective solutions, and demonstrating measurable impact, with technical ability to implement or prototype solutions using AI tools; OR Applied Engineering Experience: 2+ years of professional software engineering, data engineering, or technical architecture with a demonstrated track record of building and deploying functional applications and strong product judgment. • AI/LLM Proficiency: Demonstrable, hands-on experience building with LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex) and managing context windows, prompt engineering, and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures in production. • Core Tech Stack: Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and software development best practices. Strong proficiency in a programming language (Python preferred). Deep experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working within modern cloud environments to deploy internal applications. • Stakeholder Management: Proven experience working directly with non-technical business leaders to translate ambiguous business problems into precise technical requirements. Experience in a Forward Deployed, Solutions Engineering, or technical consulting role is highly preferred. • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field; OR equivalent demonstrably successful experience building and shipping complex technical projects. (Strong GitHub repository and history of shipped operational tools valued over degrees). Nice-to-Have: Product Management experience with demonstrated ability to conduct stakeholder interviews, translate messy operational problems into high-impact solutions, manage business expectations, and strong instincts for knowing what to build, what to skip, and how to build the right thing. Entrepreneurial background or product roadmap ownership is a plus.
