As an AI Operations professional, you will own live operational problems end-to-end: diagnosing workflow bottlenecks, designing AI-driven solutions, and measuring impact on patient and provider access. You'll examine data, trace workflows, consult frontline stakeholders, and partner with engineering to build and deploy AI agents and automations. Responsibilities include identifying where AI can act reliably versus where human judgment is necessary, writing specifications for internal products, building and evaluating prototypes, studying failure modes, and rapidly iterating based on real-world outcomes.
The role demands high autonomy and ownership mentality. You'll translate complex healthcare access pathways into scalable systems, help expand Forus into new product areas, and drive measurable improvements in operational efficiency and patient outcomes.
Ideal candidates have 2–10 years in operations, consulting, finance, product, or analytical roles (startup experience preferred). You should have a track record of owning metrics and driving improvement in complex workflows, fluency with data and technical tools (comfortable using AI coding assistants), strong judgment about automation and quality controls, and excellent written/verbal communication.
