The Vi Platform is the foundational shared layer underlying every Vi application. It abstracts data, models, agents, and compliance into reusable services that all products depend on for client onboarding, patient engagement, and results measurement. This architecture ensures capabilities are built once and leveraged across the entire product suite.
You will join the Vi Platform team as an AI Engineer, reporting to the VP of R&D. This is a hands-on individual contributor role positioned at the intersection of data science, software engineering, and cloud infrastructure. Your responsibilities include:
- Designing production-grade AI services and platform capabilities
- Building all layers of the system—from data pipelines and model serving to API design and infrastructure
- Shipping services to production and monitoring their performance
- Measuring impact on downstream products and business outcomes
- Maintaining and extending platform services based on product team feedback and scaling requirements
- Collaborating with product teams to understand their needs and ensure the platform evolves to support them
This role requires deep technical ownership: you will own services end-to-end, from conception through deployment, optimization, and ongoing maintenance. You will work with production AI systems, cloud infrastructure, and cross-functional teams to ensure the platform scales reliably.
