Salary: USD 250,000 - 325,000 / annual
Applecart is a B2B SaaS platform that helps C-suite executives and organizations reach business-critical decision makers through data-driven relationship mapping and content delivery. The company serves Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits, government agencies, and major communications firms.
You will serve as the primary administrator for AI tools and platforms across the organization. This is a hybrid role based in New York City (in-office Tuesday–Thursday, remote Monday and Friday).
Key responsibilities include:
• Administer and manage AI platforms and licenses (provisioning, access controls, cost monitoring) for LLM services like Claude, OpenAI, Google Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot.
• Define, enforce, and communicate AI usage policies covering data handling, acceptable use, and model governance.
• Serve as the main point of contact for internal AI tooling support, onboarding, and troubleshooting across the company.
• Secure AI integrations with existing enterprise systems (SSO, identity management, data sources).
• Audit and monitor AI usage logs, set budgets, and ensure cost-effective, responsible AI adoption.
• Improve the company's AI security and compliance posture, including data loss prevention and audit readiness.
• Build automations and scripts (Python) to streamline administration, reporting, and monitoring.
• Partner with the IT Director on strategic initiatives such as AI governance frameworks, vendor evaluation, and SOC 2 compliance.
• Train and educate employees on responsible and effective AI use.
You will report to the Director of Information Systems and Technology and collaborate with IT, Security, HR, Business Operations, and Platform teams.
Required experience:
• 3+ years in IT Systems Administration, AI operations, or similar role.
• Hands-on enterprise-level administration of AI/LLM platforms (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, Copilot).
• Strong experience with identity and SaaS platforms (Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Microsoft Office).
• SSO and integration experience (Okta, OneLogin) for connecting AI tools to enterprise identity.
• Python scripting for automation, reporting, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with AI governance, data privacy, and acceptable-use policy design.
• Understanding of data security and DLP concepts applied to AI tools.
• Experience supporting SOC 2 audits or similar compliance frameworks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to train non-technical users.
