Pronto AI is a global leader in commercializing autonomous vehicle (AV) technology, deploying Autonomous Haulage Systems (AHS) that automate operations in mines, quarries, and construction sites worldwide. The company delivers production-ready autonomy already operating in the field and is building toward becoming the world's first profitable AV technology company. In this role, you will remotely support the deployment of Pronto's autonomous haulage system across multiple mine sites. Key responsibilities include tracking truck bring-up, rover installation, and system commissioning progress; documenting and escalating site-level issues such as equipment faults, communications failures, and installation delays to the Field Operations Manager and engineering teams; and coordinating logistics remotely with customer site teams regarding permitting, work authorizations, and equipment readiness. You will monitor production and administrative delays against project milestones, maintaining structured trackers for visibility across distributed stakeholders. You'll support customer training sessions on Pronto technology remotely and assist with handover documentation to mine operations teams. You'll serve as a remote point of contact for routine operational questions, keeping Pronto HQ informed through regular status updates, and help monitor safety compliance and site-specific protocols by coordinating with on-site personnel. The role requires 3–7 years of experience in mining, heavy equipment, or industrial field operations. You should be comfortable operating remotely on active mine site projects and understand production and safety-critical environments. Prior exposure to technology rollouts (autonomy, remote operations, telematics, or machine control systems) is a strong plus. Strong organizational skills, async work comfort, and the ability to coordinate across time zones are essential. You must be willing to travel short-term (days to a couple weeks) when sites require in-person troubleshooting. A degree in Mining Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on industry experience, is preferred.
