Hippocratic AI is seeking an Agent Deployment Architect to serve as the company's first forward-deployed technical leader, embedding directly within health systems to architect and launch healthcare AI agents into production. This role bridges cutting-edge AI technology with operational healthcare reality, working with clinical teams to deploy agents that improve patient safety and care delivery.
In the first 90 days, you will complete a full deployment cycle: document clinical workflows, architect custom EHR integrations (Epic, Cerner, Athena), design and deploy production AI agents handling real patient workflows, and train customer teams for independent operation. By 12 months, you will scale from one to multiple deployed agents, establish a repeatable deployment playbook reducing implementation cycles by 40%, build strong customer relationships driving expansion requests, and contribute evidence of improved patient safety or operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include partnering with clinical and operational leaders to map workflows and identify AI automation opportunities; designing technical integration architecture connecting AI agents with enterprise EHR systems, CRMs, and clinical data repositories while ensuring secure, compliant data flow; architecting and deploying modular AI agents for use cases like patient triage, intake automation, and clinical documentation support; leading post-sale technical implementation as primary technical contact managing requirements, timelines, and stakeholder coordination; and building repeatable tooling and playbooks to standardize deployment processes and enable scaling across multiple health systems.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field; minimum 5 years in healthcare implementation, enterprise software deployment, or health-tech product management; minimum 5 years hands-on experience integrating with enterprise EHRs or working in healthcare payer/digital health environments; demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and operate autonomously in client-embedded roles; and proven track record translating complex stakeholder needs into actionable requirements. Must be based within 50 miles of York, Pennsylvania and available for on-site work 5 days per week.
Preferred qualifications include Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or Healthcare Management; experience building or deploying conversational AI, LLM-based systems, or clinical decision support tools; familiarity with healthcare compliance frameworks (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR); startup or high-growth technology experience; comfort reading and discussing Python code; and background in clinical operations or patient-facing healthcare technology.
