Kraken, one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms with over 10 million users, is seeking an Affiliate Growth Lead to build and scale relationships with finance and investing creators and affiliates across the US market. This role combines business development, creator partnerships, and performance marketing with a clear mandate: drive attributable funded accounts and trading volume from active traders and investors, starting with Margin trading products.
You will own business development for US finance and investing creators and affiliates, building a high-quality pipeline of trading educators, finance YouTubers, podcasters, newsletter authors, and wealth-management creators. You'll develop and execute the US creator and affiliate strategy, focusing initially on driving Margin trading volume and funded accounts, with scope to expand across Kraken's other trading products.
Key responsibilities include partner acquisition and relationship development from initial outreach through activation and ongoing growth; structuring CPA, revenue-share, and hybrid partnerships tied to funded accounts and trading activity; setting up tracking, attribution, payout and reporting systems; working with Legal and Compliance on disclosure and content review for leveraged products; partnering across Growth, Marketing, and Product teams to execute campaigns; coordinating with the NORAM Pro KOL team to ensure single points of contact; tracking attributable trading volume, funded accounts, retention, and CAC per partner; and continuously identifying emerging creators and publishers reaching active traders in the US.
This is not a crypto-native KOL role. The target audience already trades and invests; you'll reach them through creators and publishers they trust in traditional finance, trading education, and wealth management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Deep experience in business development, partnerships, influencer management, or affiliate-led growth in the US, with a track record of running performance-based creator or affiliate programs for a brokerage, trading platform, or investing product
- Experience growing margin, options, futures, or other leveraged or active-trading products
- Strong existing network and understanding of the US finance and investing creator ecosystem (trading educators, finance YouTubers, newsletter authors, podcasters, wealth-management creators)
- Working knowledge of crypto and digital assets, with ability to explain crypto trading products to new audiences
- Demonstrated ability to originate, negotiate, and grow commercially meaningful partnerships including CPA, revenue-share, and hybrid deal structures
- Hands-on experience with affiliate networks and tracking platforms
- Track record of turning creator or affiliate activity into measurable outcomes (funded accounts, trading volume, revenue, acquisition) with quantifiable results
- Familiarity with US financial advertising rules, including FTC paid-endorsement disclosure, and experience getting creator content through compliance review
- Strong relationship-building skills and credibility to work with creators protective of audience trust
- Commercial judgment: prioritizing partners based on expected impact on conversion and trading activity
- Comfort using performance data to evaluate partners, diagnose results, adjust strategy, and end underperforming partnerships
- Strong cross-functional execution skills
