Salary: USD 272,000 - 374,000 / annual

You will serve as a senior security leader reporting directly to Harvey's CISO, based in New York City. This role bridges customer relationships, go-to-market strategy, and engineering teams. You'll represent Harvey's security strategy to CISOs and technology leaders across the region, helping customers understand how Harvey approaches security, AI risk, architecture, and secure deployment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as a trusted security advisor to CISOs, CIOs, and technology leaders at customers and prospects
- Partner with GTM leadership on strategic opportunities where security, architecture, AI risk, or customer trust are critical to adoption
- Work directly with Security, Product, Legal, and Engineering teams to translate customer requirements and emerging risks into product and security priorities
- Develop and communicate Harvey's point of view on securing enterprise AI, including architecture, deployment models, data protection, identity, AI security, and emerging threats
- Represent Harvey externally through executive briefings, customer forums, industry events, and security thought leadership
- Help Harvey anticipate how regional and industry-specific regulatory, security, and data requirements will shape enterprise AI adoption
This is not a traditional sales engineering or compliance role. You'll move comfortably between customer CISO conversations and technical discussions with Harvey's engineers, bringing customer insights back into the organization to influence roadmap and security priorities.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Operated as a CISO, Deputy CISO, senior security executive, Field CISO, or similarly senior technical security leader in a sophisticated technology environment
- Sufficient technical depth to engage credibly with security architects and engineers, while also advising executives and navigating complex enterprise buying decisions
- Built or operated real security programs; understand how modern software and cloud platforms are secured
- Experience with AI security, enterprise SaaS, regulated industries, or complex enterprise technology environments is particularly valuable
- Demonstrated ability to establish credibility with customers, identify market insights from customer concerns, and translate those insights into action across GTM, Security, Product, and Engineering
