Auki Labs is building decentralized computing infrastructure to help robots perceive and understand the world around them. The company uses a tokenized network to enable devices to understand their location and visual environment, with a mission to improve human-AI interaction and advance civilization's intercognitive capacity.
As an Advanced Robot Developer, you will take ownership of perception and control systems for advanced humanoid and quadruped robots including EngineAI, Unitree, and Agibot platforms. You'll develop and optimize ROS2 packages for robotic functionality, create and maintain simulation environments for testing and validation, and design motion planning and SLAM solutions. Your work will span sensor integration (LiDAR, depth cameras, IMUs), real-time robot operation and teleoperation tools, and fleet management systems within the posemesh architecture.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and optimize perception and control systems for humanoid and quadruped robots
- Create and maintain ROS2 packages for advanced robotic functionality
- Implement and refine simulation environments for robotics testing and validation
- Design and test motion planning, SLAM, and AI-driven autonomy solutions
- Support sensor integration including LiDAR, depth cameras, and IMUs
- Develop tools for real-time robot operation, teleoperation, and fleet management
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of Python and C++ for robotics applications
- Hands-on experience with ROS2, particularly Nav2, SLAM, visual odometry, and motion planning
- Familiarity with NVIDIA Isaac SDK, Isaac Sim, and Omniverse for simulation and AI-driven robotics
- Deep understanding of robot perception, including LiDAR, depth cameras, and sensor fusion
- Experience with robotic simulation tools such as Gazebo, Isaac Sim, Mujoco, or LeRobot
- Proficiency in robot kinematics, path planning, and real-time control
- Knowledge of edge computing and AI acceleration using NVIDIA Jetson platforms
- Experience with inter-device communication over Ethernet, WiFi, and real-time middleware (DDS, MQTT, ZeroMQ, etc.)
