Salary: USD 21 - 24 / hourly
Imagine Pediatrics is a tech-enabled, pediatrician-led medical group delivering 24/7 virtual-first and in-home medical, behavioral, and social care for children with special healthcare needs. The company works alongside families, providers, and health plans to enhance existing care teams and break down barriers to quality care.
In this role, you will serve as a critical operations support member of the multidisciplinary Acute Care team, ensuring proper dispatch and administrative coordination for the Mobile Integrated Care program. Your responsibilities include:
• Scheduling and dispatching the Acute Care Team, including in-house Pediatric Home Care Specialists and partner Mobile Integrated Healthcare resources
• Monitoring Home Care Specialist safety and location through the Axle platform
• Setting up secure chats between Home Care Specialists and providers for in-home visits
• Facilitating communication between healthcare clinicians via Microsoft Teams
• Verifying patient insurance eligibility through health plan portals and the Athena EHR system
• Collaborating with intake and triage clinicians to manage inbound phone calls, text messages, and requests through CareHub, NotifyMD, and OnPage platforms
• Connecting patients to appropriate care teams and assisting with administrative tasks
The role is fully remote with a Monday–Friday schedule, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM Central Time. You will work in a mission-driven environment focused on reimagining pediatric healthcare for medically complex children.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare organization (dispatch experience is a plus)
• Minimum 2 years of experience communicating with patients and/or families by telephone
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in multiple clinical and/or dispatch systems
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Passion for reimagining pediatric healthcare and supporting children with special healthcare needs
