The company has secured €57M in funding from GFC, WhiteStar Capital, Elaia, and 115K (La Banque Postale), and works with over 100 brokers protecting approximately 2 million policyholders across 6 European countries.
As Accounting Director, you will lead Seyna's Finance team's accounting function during a period of significant growth and industrialization. - Mastering insurance accounting complexity, including technical provisions, reinsurance treaties, and insurance-specific balance sheet mechanics.
- Building and continuously improving accounting tools and processes to automate manual operations and accelerate close cycles.
- Overseeing cash management, including broker and reinsurer collections, payment terms, follow-ups, and reconciliation between bordereaux and income statements.
- Managing tax compliance, including filings, legal optimization, and relationships with tax authorities.
- Preparing Seyna for due diligence by ensuring complete, coherent, and high-quality financial documentation is available for investors, auditors, and regulators.
- Managing and developing the accounting team, including hiring, training, and capability building.
You will work within a fast-growing fintech environment where financial rigor is a strategic priority. The role requires balancing day-to-day accounting operations with strategic improvements and regulatory compliance.
Requirements:

- Proven experience building or redesigning scalable finance functions with industrialized and automated accounting systems.
- Ability to understand and anticipate the impact of rapid business growth on accounting scope and complexity.
- Strong data literacy and ability to trace accounting information flows end-to-end, including in data-intensive environments.
- Executive leadership capability: ability to inspire confidence, make decisions, and operate at C-suite level.
- Strong communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders (banks, auditors, regulators).
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritize effectively in a fast-moving environment.
- Bonus: Interest in AI applications within accounting functions.
