As an Accounts Receivable Accountant, you will be a core member of the global AR and Revenue team, managing billing and payment data with meticulous attention to detail. You will own internal and external AR communication channels, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding items and supporting collection activities through established strategies. Your responsibilities include reconciling bank and payment data daily, maintaining accurate customer billing records across multiple product lines, and preparing recurring collections and cash flow reports for internal stakeholders. You will also handle ad hoc data analysis and AR-related tasks as needed, working closely with US-based team members to ensure financial records remain accurate and up to date.
This role is night shift (10 PM–7 AM BST, Monday–Friday) based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and requires strong English communication skills and the ability to manage high-volume data and communications with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting, Accounts Receivable, finance, or a related field, OR a bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with strong follow-through
- Experience managing shared inboxes and handling high-volume communications
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
- Strong interest in working with data and identifying discrepancies or trends
- Willingness to learn and develop accounting and AR process knowledge
- ERP system experience is a plus
