Adyen is a global financial technology platform providing payments, data, and financial products for major enterprises like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. The Account Management team is central to the company's growth and expansion worldwide.
In this role, you will manage relationships with innovative international merchants across multiple industries and channels. You'll work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with high autonomy, developing expertise in the global payments landscape through Adyen's AM Academy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain trust-based relationships with merchants to minimize churn and develop strong partnerships
- Proactively identify commercial opportunities and drive growth discussions with your merchant portfolio
- Manage a wide variety of accounts across different verticals, working both collaboratively with your team and independently with strategic merchants
- Prioritize and manage short and long-term projects with varying timelines across multiple accounts, coordinating with internal support teams
- Serve as a feedback loop between customers and internal teams to improve product and merchant experience
- Deliver outstanding customer experience while driving mutual success for Adyen and its customers
You'll work alongside talented, driven Account Managers in a collaborative environment where winning is prioritized over ego. The role emphasizes strong time management, efficient workflows, and the ability to engage others both internally and externally.
Requirements:
- 3–4 years of experience in a client-facing or commercial role, selling complex enterprise software, technical infrastructure, or financial services (payments experience preferred)
- Full professional written and verbal proficiency in both French and English
- Based in Paris office; hybrid workplace with in-person collaboration valued
- Willingness to undertake some domestic and international travel
