Innovaccer is seeking a Data Analyst to help healthcare customers explore their data, understand population health improvement opportunities, and reduce healthcare costs.
In this role, you will design and build data pipelines that transform data from multiple healthcare systems while adhering to industry standards and best practices. You'll work on data quality documentation and improvement, create analytical reports for US healthcare customers, and apply Innovaccer's data warehousing concepts and best practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and building data pipelines for healthcare data transformation
- Adhering to, documenting, and improving data quality best practices
- Creating analytical reports for US healthcare customers
- Understanding and implementing Innovaccer data warehousing concepts
- Communicating technical and non-technical information clearly
Requirements:
- 2+ years in a data engineering or analytics role at a data services or product firm
- Data modeling ability with knowledge of different data modeling concepts
- Strong SQL skills with ability to write complex queries
- Self-starter mentality with curiosity, accountability, and strong work ethic suited to fast-paced startup environments
- Extensive experience communicating technical and non-technical information clearly and concisely
- Demonstrated expert problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellence in multitasking and managing multiple high-priority tasks
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science (advanced degree a plus)
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with Snowflake, AWS, or Azure
- Experience in US Healthcare
- Working knowledge of Python for data transformation
- Experience with Agentic AI in data engineering
