Vensure Employer Solutions, the largest privately held HR technology and services organization, is seeking a Benefit Implementation Consultant to support clients in implementing and optimizing benefits administration software. You will serve as the primary point of contact throughout the implementation lifecycle, managing all phases from discovery through go-live and beyond.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading client discovery and requirements-gathering sessions to understand benefit program structures, eligibility rules, enrollment processes, and business objectives
- Managing implementation projects end-to-end, guiding clients through configuration decisions, milestones, testing, and deployment
- Configuring and validating benefit plans, employee eligibility rules, carrier connections, and system workflows
- Coordinating timelines, deliverables, and communication between clients, internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors
- Conducting comprehensive system testing, quality assurance reviews, and user acceptance testing
- Troubleshooting configuration, data, and system issues during and after implementation, providing timely resolution and process improvement recommendations
- Validating benefit data imports, carrier feeds, enrollment workflows, and reporting outputs for accuracy and integrity
- Delivering client training and knowledge transfer sessions to enable effective system utilization
- Providing consultative guidance on benefits administration, enrollment processes, and system optimization
- Documenting implementation decisions, configurations, testing results, and client-specific requirements
- Monitoring post-implementation performance and adoption, addressing concerns and identifying enhancement opportunities
The role requires strong client relationship-building skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deep knowledge of benefits administration and HRIS systems. You will work in a fast-paced environment supporting over 95,000 businesses.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3–5 years of experience in benefits administration, HRIS, benefits technology, implementation consulting, account management, or related client-facing role
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting established timelines and deliverables
- Experience working directly with clients to gather requirements, document business processes, and provide consultative solutions
- Experience conducting system testing, troubleshooting issues, and validating data accuracy
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, COBRA, FSA, HSA, and retirement plans
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build positive client relationships
- High attention to detail and ability to analyze data and resolve complex issues
