Voyager Technologies, an innovative space, defense, and national security technology company, is seeking a Workday Administrator to report directly to the Senior Director of Workforce Systems & Payroll. This role is fully remote within the US and offers the opportunity to manage the day-to-day operation, configuration, and support of the Workday system while ensuring accurate data, smooth business process flow, and timely resolution of user issues. Key responsibilities include performing routine system configuration changes such as business process updates, security role assignments, and report/dashboard builds. You will monitor and troubleshoot daily system issues, EIB errors, and integration failures, escalating complex architectural issues as needed. The role involves managing system security through role-based access, segregation of duties, and periodic access audits. You will support bi-annual Workday release testing, regression testing, and documentation of new features. Building and maintaining custom reports (Advanced, Matrix, Composite) and calculated fields to support HR and Payroll reporting needs is a core responsibility. Data load management includes processing and auditing EIBs for mass changes, new hire batches, org restructures, and compensation updates. Additional duties include serving as first-line support for end users and HRBPs, resolving tickets related to Workday functionality; maintaining configuration documentation, business process maps, and standard operating procedures; supporting open enrollment, compensation review cycles, and other seasonal HR processes within Workday; and partnering with the Workday Architect on testing and rollout of larger configuration or integration changes. Occasional annual travel for team events is expected at 5-10%. REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience) - 3+ years of hands-on Workday administration experience - Solid understanding of Workday business process framework, security groups, and report writing - Experience with EIB loads, calculated fields, and basic troubleshooting of integration issues - Strong attention to detail and comfort working with sensitive HR/payroll data - Ability to manage multiple support tickets and configuration requests simultaneously - Workday Pro certification is preferred but not required Note: Applicants must be a U.S. Person (US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual) and eligible to obtain any required export authorizations due to ITAR and EAR compliance.
