Thunes is a global payments infrastructure company operating a Direct Global Network that enables real-time money movement across 130+ countries and 80+ currencies. The network connects to over 7 billion mobile wallets and bank accounts via 350+ payment methods, serving clients including Uber, Deliveroo, Grab, WeChat, and major financial institutions.
The Technical Project Manager will be a core member of the Solutions Delivery Team, responsible for supporting partner integration onto the Thunes Cross-Border Payment platform. This role combines technical depth with project leadership, requiring someone who can scope solutions, drive integrations from analysis through go-live, and support existing partners on expansion initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proactively scoping technical solutions to address customer requirements and recommending approaches that optimize value for both customer and Thunes
- Coordinating with sales, sales support, and delivery teams to align solution design with business requirements
- Securing customer technical resource commitments for deal closure
- Leading partner integrations from analysis phase through design, go-live, and post-delivery monitoring
- Supporting existing integrated partners with daily operational challenges and expansion plans
- Developing proof-of-concepts for special projects
- Driving improvements to internal monitoring, reporting, and operational tools
- Providing technical training to the sales team
The ideal candidate will be customer-facing, maintaining close relationships with partners and business development teams. You'll work across internal teams to understand operational processes, mentor junior team members, and identify business development opportunities within customer organizations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in technical project management (API/Integrations) or solutions delivery with external stakeholders
- B2B company experience supporting partners on technical solutions or services
- Strong background and interest in Fintech and/or Payment Industry
- Experience working with and integrating APIs over IP (REST, Web Services, etc.)
- Agile environment experience (Jira management a plus)
- Demonstrated ability to learn new skills and technologies
- Strong multitasking, agility, and responsibility in challenging situations
