Junction is building the infrastructure layer for diagnostic healthcare, connecting digital health companies to major lab partners like Quest and LabCorp. The company is backed by Creandum, Point Nine, 20VC, Y Combinator, and leading angels, and is already connecting millions of users while scaling rapidly. As Technical Implementations Analyst, you will own lab certifications end-to-end and drive automation across partner processes. Your day-to-day responsibilities include: - Own lab certifications end-to-end: receive new requests from Quest and LabCorp, build test plans, run test cases, and get each account certified and live. - Manage ~30 concurrent certifications: track status of every certification, identify blockers, and drive resolution without being prompted. - Be the primary contact for lab partners: maintain clear, organized communication with Quest, LabCorp, and other partners on test cases and issues. - Drive automation: identify manual and repetitive certification workflows and build solutions using scripts, AI agents, and other tools to reduce manual effort. The goal is to automate most of the happy path within the next year. - Work hands-on with data: debug issues by running scripts, querying databases, pulling data from partner systems (e.g., HL7 changes, sandbox overrides), and analyzing API responses—not escalating to engineers. - Manage partner processes: set up lab accounts and sub-accounts, track pricing requests, and maintain visibility into process status for the team. - Maintain documentation: keep internal and customer-facing docs current on certification and account setup procedures. - Identify optimization opportunities: spot other lab workflows that are manual and repetitive, and build the business case for automating them. Success means every certification and partner process has a clear owner and status, accounts go live faster with less back-and-forth, and at least one additional lab partner process has been automated out of spreadsheets or inboxes. This is not a pure customer success role (you'll engage with customers tactically to get them live, but most time is with lab partners and internal teams), nor is it a pure engineering role (you own a process and automate it, not build product features). You will write and ship code changes yourself. The role requires someone who sees manual work and wants to eliminate it, not someone who wants a fully defined playbook. REQUIREMENTS: - 2+ years of implementation, integration, or technical support experience with API-based or similarly technical products - Ecosystem thinking: experience working with active partner networks and integrations, understanding how process improvements affect multiple stakeholders - Technical capability: ability to make code changes and ship fixes independently (scripts, database queries, API integrations) without requiring line-by-line engineer review - Hands-on scripting: comfortable writing SQL and scripting in Python or JavaScript - AI-native: daily use of AI tools and integration into workflows; reach for AI as the first solution for repetitive tasks - Project management: ability to keep dozens of concurrent items moving without slipping - High ownership: proactive problem-solving mindset; see a problem and want to solve it next - Partner communication: clear, organized, responsive communication with external contacts - Nice to have: experience with healthcare data (HL7, results interfaces, EMRs), SQL, or Python/JavaScript scripting Note: The posting states salary is dependent on location and experience level but does not provide a specific range.
