Tinybird is a developer-focused platform that makes real-time data accessible and actionable. The company helps developers and data teams ingest data from multiple sources, query using SQL, and publish results as low-latency APIs in minutes.
You will own the full funnel from signups through qualified pipeline for developer-led growth. This is a hands-on builder role working directly with the CEO, engineering, design, content, RevOps, and sales teams.
Key responsibilities:
• Own and optimize the signup-to-activation-to-opportunity funnel, building a weekly dashboard tracking all stages and acting on insights.
• Define high-intent lead criteria with RevOps and sales, then build scoring, routing, and alert systems to ensure hot leads receive human contact within one business day.
• Ship public content weekly: partner with engineers and content team on demos, examples, teardowns, and build-in-public posts. You'll set priorities and contribute meaningful writing yourself.
• Drive AI-native workflow adoption through experimentation: agent skills, MCP servers, plugins for Cursor/Claude/OpenAI, and AI assistant visibility. Test, measure impact on signups, and iterate rapidly.
• Run focused campaigns with defined target lists, offers, and sales follow-up.
• Improve activation through lifecycle emails and in-product nudges in HubSpot, targeting first queries not just opens.
• Reallocate budget and time monthly toward pipeline-producing activities, adjusting within weeks.
First 90 days: establish a trusted signup-to-pipeline dashboard reviewed weekly with sales and CEO; implement lead routing and first-touch SLAs with measurement; launch weekly public shipping cadence and at least one targeted campaign with sales follow-up.
Requirements:
• Proven track record owning signup-to-pipeline or signup-to-revenue metrics at a developer-facing product (devtools, data, infrastructure, observability, security, or similar). Must provide specific examples of changes made and results achieved.
• Technical proficiency: write SQL, spin up working demos, read API references, use AI coding tools daily. Engineers should take your work seriously because you ship it.
• Experience marketing to technical buyers, from individual developers to platform and data leads.
• Fast-moving, learns in public. Demonstrate something shipped in the last 90 days: experiment, demo, campaign, or side project.
• 5+ years in growth, demand generation, or developer marketing with ability to work independently while remaining hands-on.
Nice to have:
• Experience with ClickHouse, Kafka, or analytics/real-time data infrastructure.
• Hands-on HubSpot or comparable CRM and attribution tooling.
• Network among AI-native builders or community growth experience.
• PLG-to-enterprise transition experience.
