Pelico is a manufacturing orchestration platform trusted by industrial leaders like Airbus, Boeing, and Safran. The company uses AI to connect fragmented supply chain, production, and quality data into a single operational picture, helping factories anticipate disruptions and prevent costly problems. Founded in 2019, backed by General Catalyst and 83North, Pelico has raised $72M with 300% YoY revenue growth and operates across 15+ countries from offices in Paris, Miami, London, and Amsterdam.
You will lead one solution surface end-to-end, owning a specific product area (Material Coverage & Inventory, Quality, Supplier & Customer Collaboration, MRO & Aftermarket, Program Management, or Strategic Account Support). Your responsibilities include:
- Ship customer-facing workflows by composing configuration, compute, widgets, connectors, and AI agents into production-ready solutions that solve real customer problems.
- Maintain a configuration-first approach: solve in Phoenix YAML where possible, write code only when justified, and prevent per-customer forks that don't scale.
- Set quality standards by authoring specs, running spec-driven workflows, and establishing evaluation and review gates for AI-assisted customer-facing features.
- Identify patterns across customer accounts and translate them into platform capabilities that accelerate future deployments.
- Lead by example: write code alongside your squad, pair with engineers deployed at customer sites, raise technical standards, and grow the team as impact scales.
Your impact is direct: customers buy outcomes (shortages caught, deliveries recovered, quality resolved). Your squad transforms the platform into those outcomes, making Pelico's revenue engine faster and more defensible while preventing fragmentation into unsustainable bespoke work.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven track record shipping full-stack, customer-facing product software end-to-end under real delivery pressure
- Strong, current hands-on coding skills: proficiency in Kotlin/Java 25 (backend) and TypeScript/React (frontend); strong in one and credible across both, or demonstrated ability to learn quickly
- Product and customer judgment: ability to scope to outcomes, cut to MVP under deadline, and decide what not to build
- Configuration-first, anti-bespoke mindset: build for many customers, not one fork at a time
- Track record of leading engineers by example, remaining hands-on and in the code
- Active embrace of AI tools as part of daily workflow; curiosity about emerging capabilities and quick adoption of new ways of working
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted workflows (writing, research, analysis, coding, productivity) and genuine interest in staying at the frontier of AI tooling
NICE TO HAVE:
- Aerospace, defense, supply-chain, or discrete-manufacturing domain knowledge (MRP, BoM, coverage, MRO/TAT, program management, procurement)
- Forward-deployed, solutions-engineering, or customer-embedded experience with learnings fed back into platform
- Configuration or low-code product experience (YAML/DSL, composable UI, workflow authoring)
- AI-native working practices (agentic workflows, eval on AI output, spec-driven development)
- French language skills (not required)
